♦ I love stockings. If dressing in my sexiest underwear I don’t feel complete without some sexy stockings on as well, ones that preferably require a garter belt (forgive me for using the American term here, ‘suspenders’ sounds so old-womany and fugly). Wherever possible I will avoid hold-up stockings and plump for the kind that require a garter belt.Why? Well, I’ll tell you why it!

Hold-up stockings do not hold-up. Ever. I have a very nice pair with a lace top and a criss-cross pattern but on wearing them out to the pub in my short skirt the other day (that’s one way to confuse my fellow geeks, my god, legs!) they kept rolling down and looking a bit silly. After much careful tugging I managed to get them sorted so that if I didn’t walk too much they’d stay put. Maybe I just have no lady ‘skillz’ whatsoever, I’ve certainly thought that enough, but if they say hold-up they should hold up, dammit!

Garter belts look very sexy and add an entire other layer if you’re doing a sexy strip. They’re also very retro and vintagey, and dammit if I don’t love retro and vintagey. It is so very sexy and chic.

Stockings held up with garter belts feel divine. The fabric of the stocking pulled taut against your legs, the restriction of the belt tugging on them, the straps tight against you, the clips digging slightly into your thigh. I can easily get rather turned on just by walking down the road in this stuff, because you can feel every centimetre of it brushing against you, it reminds you just what naughtiness you’re wearing, a secret no-one can see unless you happen to flash a bit of thigh.

So, stockings feel sexy. Even the hold-up ones when they aren’t being annoying. And they look it too. Especially seamed ones, oh God, the seamed ones. I get the distinct feeling my sexy lover Fractal doesn’t care quite as much for seams as I do, if at all. But I love them. Retro and vintagey, again.
I need more stockings. I have plenty, but I need more. I particularly want some that are nude with a black seam, perhaps I shall get myself to eBay.

♦ Black, lace top, hold-up seamed stockings
♦ Black, lace top, criss-cross stockings
♦ Black fishnet hold-ups
♦ Red lace top hold-up black fishnets – actually hold-up if I wear them inside out and fold the top down
♦ White and black striped stockings with card suits (diamond, spade, heart, club) up the back like these
♦ Green and purple striped stockings – more playful than sexy
♦ Nude lace top hold-ups
♦ White suspender tights – great for playing innocent like these

And last but certainly not least I have a pair of black seamed stockings with huge rips and holes in them, practically unwearable. They got a ladder in them. Fractal said it looked sexy. He said he wouldn’t mind seeing more of that. So, despite being somewhat unable stop thinking of the Japanese hooker in Lost in Translation (lip my stockings!), I told him that next time he felt that way inclined he could destroy them.

And he did. Calling me a filthy, dirty girl and tearing great holes in them as we were getting up to sexies. That’s a kind of stocking-appreciation I can agree with too, even if it would be expensive to keep up… ♦
